Privacy policy

Your progress is yours.

How Turvie handles your information, in plain words.

Last updated November 6, 2026

The short version

  • What you enter in Turvie stays on your iPhone.
  • No account, no ads, no tracking.
  • Purchases go through Apple, with RevenueCat managing subscriptions.
  • We never sell your information.
  • Delete the app and its information goes with it.

Who we are

Turvie is made by FussMaker Group Inc., a company in British Columbia, Canada. In this policy, “we” means FussMaker Group Inc. You can reach us at [email protected].

What the app keeps

To work, Turvie keeps what you enter: what you're quitting, your quit date and your before-numbers, your check-ins and how the days felt, the cravings and slips you log, your reason and your plan, the notes you keep, and your friend. This is stored on your iPhone. We don't receive it, and we can't see it.

If you choose Save my progress, the app makes a code or a file for you to keep. It goes wherever you put it, not to us.

If your iPhone backs up to iCloud, Apple may include Turvie's information in that backup. That's handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Reminders

If you turn on the evening reminder, it's scheduled on your phone by iOS. No server of ours sends it, and you can turn it off any time.

What we don't do

  • We don't ask for your name, email or phone number to use the app.
  • We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
  • We don't sell, rent or trade personal information.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • We don't share what you enter with employers, insurers or anyone else.

Health information

What you enter about smoking, vaping or drinking is sensitive. Keeping it on your phone is how we protect it. We never use it for advertising or marketing, and we never share it. Turvie is not a health care provider, and nothing you enter is a medical record.

Purchases and subscriptions

Turvie Plus is sold through Apple's App Store, and Apple handles the payment. We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions: it receives your purchase history and an anonymous ID made for the app, with basic settings such as your language and currency, never your name or what you enter about your habits. Apple may also share limited sales reports with us, and, only if you've agreed in your iPhone settings, anonymous crash reports that help us fix bugs.

The companies we work with handle data under agreements and policies that protect it at least as well as this policy does.

If you contact us

If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and help you, and we delete it when it's no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it. Please don't send health details you'd rather keep private.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or ads. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

Age

Turvie is meant for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can delete Turvie's information at any time by deleting the app. Under Canadian and BC privacy law, including PIPEDA and BC's Personal Information Protection Act, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Write to us and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Turvie handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll explain it in the app before it applies.
